“Hello December”

Hey there, my friends!! I hope that this past week has been kind to you and has treated you well. Happy December!! I can’t believe that the new year is practically here already. I really hope that this new year will bring much better things for all of us. As much as I love the autumn season, I really do love all of the good tidings and joy that there usually is during this time of year. For me, one of the greatest joys that I truly experience during the holiday season is to give something to others. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to do something this year that I have made it a point to do every year — I won’t be able to visit with my family in person this year. Of course, if this means that we all get to be healthy for many more years to come, this is a small price that I am willing to pay. I just wish that I didn’t feel like this holiday season was off this year.

“Holiday Traditions”

In years past, it was a tradition for my fiance and me to meet with various loved ones throughout December to meet up for a meal, exchange gifts, share food, and catch up. This year, to help me feel less sad about missing my loved ones, my fiance and I are going to do our best to get in the Christmas spirit and still partake in traditions that we have done in the past — things like drive around the neighborhood and look at the lights that are decorating various homes in the area, making small stocking stuffers for friends and neighbors, sending out holiday cards, etc. We’ll also be making it a point to start some new traditions as well. My fiance’s mother is going to try baking a bread that is usually breakfast on Christmas morning gluten-free this year. My fiance and I are going to help decorate the house this year, something that we’ve never done together before. As much as I know that I will miss seeing my family and friends this year, I am looking forward to spending a nice and quiet holiday season with my fiance and his family.

“Thank you”

Thank you so very much for taking the time to read my blog!! I hope that you enjoyed it. Please feel free to applaud this blog post (where the hands clap together) and comment down below. What are some of the things that you plan to do this holiday season? I’d love to hear from you. I hope that you will have a great week! Stay safe out there! Until next week, my friends! :-) ❤
